Ely Electrical Ltd is a growing company who, over the initial start up period has seen a rapid increase in returning work from previous customers. We firmly believe that this is due to our ethos where we treat every customer as an individual and treat their homes with the utmost care.

Ely Electrical Ltd was set up in January 2022 by our lead electrician and director Alex.

Alex has been working in the industry for over 11 years and throughout his career he has specialized in all aspects of domestic electrical work, including the fitting of smart thermostats on central heating systems, installation of smart WI-FI connected doorbells and cameras such as nest and ring.

Alex holds several recognized qualifications within the industry which has allowed Ely Electrical Ltd to join the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting( NICEIC) as an approved contractor.

The NICEIC is one of the major governing bodies for electrical work within the industry. Being under their Competent Persons Scheme, means that we have an annual audit where they come out on site with us to check our work. To be part of this Scheme means that they also focus on our paperwork and make sure it is up to scratch. This includes having an up- to-date health and safety policy, all the correct standards documentation, public liability insurance up to £2,000,000 and public indemnity insurance up to £250,000.

As a registered member of the NICEIC you as the customer are also covered by their PLATINUM PROMISE. This means that in the unlikely event we carry out any work which turns out to be non-compliant – and -we have ceased trading, the NICEIC will step in and resolve the issue at no extra cost to you.

Therefore, you can be safe in the knowledge that we are professionals and you are covered should anything untoward happen during the course of our visit.
